4. Server Logs for PDF Downloads and Appointment Bookings

When you download one of the PDF documents offered on this website, or click one of the buttons leading to our appointment booking page, our server writes a log entry. Each entry contains your IP address, the date and time of the request, your browser's user agent, the referring page, and either the name of the downloaded file or an identifier of the button that was clicked (for example "hero" or "nav-desktop").

We use this information to understand which of our documents and offers are actually used, and to operate the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in evaluating and improving our own content pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

This logging uses no cookies and neither stores nor reads any identifier on your device, and therefore does not require your consent. The data is not used to build user profiles, is not combined with other data sources, and is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.

Log entries are held on the infrastructure of our hosting provider (Render) on servers located in Frankfurt, Germany, and are automatically deleted after 7 days.

5. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for stated purposes or legal requirements. Unnecessary data undergoes secure deletion. Server log entries described in Section 4 are deleted automatically after 7 days.
